I discovered glass etching in 2012 through multiple online tutorials that taught etching using either stencils made from contact paper or painted with fabric puffy paint. I combine both, creating the stencils very intuitively. The final results come from the negative space of the stencils themselves: undulating lines, patterns and figures revealed against clear, colored and textured glass pieces.
I etch glassware, mirrors, serving ware and make jewelry with small etched pendants. I like to try to give new life to upcycled pieces I find while shopping local thrift stores in the Tampa bay area. To purchase available glass pieces, please go here.
